Lichtin Plaza Enhancements

Lichtin Plaza Enhancements

Enhancements to Lichtin Plaza, the exterior plaza of the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts are nearing completion. The plaza is fully walkable, and the dedicated drop-off lane will open to vehicles in the coming weeks.

Over the past several months, the plaza has undergone improvements designed to enhance accessibility, expand green space, and create a more welcoming arrival experience for guests and the downtown community.

  • Dedicated drop-off lane
  • Added wheelchair accessible ramps
  • Enhanced greenspace and new flex space

The redesigned plaza is also already coming to life with vibrant pink temporary turf for the upcoming Pendo 'Pendomonium' conference — the first event to utilize and enjoy the enhanced space!

We appreciate your patience throughout this process and look forward to welcoming guests to enjoy the newly enhanced plaza.
