Come celebrate America’s 250th Birthday with us as we present patriotic works by American composers, featuring “The Song of Democracy” by Howard Hanson (on a poem of Walt Whitman), “The Promise of Living” by Aaron Copland, and the final movement of Michael Daugherty’s “Mount Rushmore” (dedicated to Abraham Lincoln).
