ENGLISH:

The accomplished 21-year-old Mexican-American singer and songwriter Ángela reigns firmly as the most prominent female artist within the Regional Mexican genre today, a space that remains largely dominated by men. With nearly over 7 billion streams across her catalogue, including her breakout hit “Qué Agonía” with beloved Mexican singer Yuridia most recently reached a staggering 1 billion streams to date, the young artist has impressively redefined the Regional Mexican genre with her staggering voice, unparalleled talent, and captivating magnetism that has captured the hearts of millions around the world.

Ángela has accomplished astronomical feats and broken records throughout 10 years of honing her craft as a dazzling performer and skilled musician through sold out tours, a slew of critically acclaimed projects and breakout collaborations with artists such as Becky G, Steve Aoki, Fito Paez, Yuridia, Jesse & Joy, Carin León and Marc Anthony. Ángela has already received a Grammy nomination (Primero Soy Mexicana for Best Album of Music Regional Mexicana) and multiple Latin Grammy nominations (Best New Artist and Best Ranchero/Mariachi Album for her two albums, Primero Soy Mexicana and Mexicana Enamorada), with her latest being in 2024 for the category Album of the Year for her project Bolero. She has become one of the youngest artists nominated for Grammy and Latin Grammy nominations.

She has also received awards and nominations for various entities such as the People’s Choice Awards, Premios Lo Nuestro Awards, Premios Juventud and the iHeartRadio Music Awards. In March 2025, Ángela received the Breakthrough Award at the Billboard Women In Music and she was the only Latina artist to be honored. That night, she received a standing ovation for her performance and speech she dedicated to immigrants. In May 2025, she released her critically acclaimed album Nadie Se Va Como Llegó that was lauded by Billboard, Rolling Stone, Los Angeles Times, MTV and more. There is no doubt that Ángela is a force to be reckoned with not only within Latin music but also in the larger music arena on a global scale, and this is just the start for the young phenom.

Snowy blue winter background with pine tree branches and glowing lights at the top with two dancers on silks and a dancer doing a straddle jump.

Created by North Carolina choreographer ,Caroline Calouche, Clara’s Trip is a contemporary twist on a holiday classic.

Clara is now a young adult and dancing her heart away at Mr. and Mrs. Flowers holiday party.  She loves to dance but is clumsy.  Her two left feet get the best of her.  She trips and is whisked off to the emergency room to find out she has a sprained ankle.

That night Clara dreams that her foot is healed and her friends’ get-well gifts come to life. Gingerbreads, fish, monkeys, candy canes, bracelets and a ballerina ornament are not to miss!

Clara’s Trip includes enchanting ensemble snow and flower scenes with aerial silks and athletic dancing.  There is not a Rat King rather a comical warped struggle with stilt dancing doctors in Clara’s warped dream.
